The HPV vaccine works best between ages 9 and 14, and is also advised for older girls and women after talking to a doctor.

Screening (Pap smear or HPV test) usually starts from about age 21-30 and repeats as the doctor advises.

Screening takes a few minutes and is done by a female doctor if you ask.

Ask your doctor or a government health centre about the vaccine.
